Australia’s bowling action very weak: Zaheer Khan

Updated at: 1652 PST, Tuesday, October 14, 2008 BANGALORE: Fast bowler Zaheer Khan severely criticizing Australian bowlers for not getting Indian team out on the last day of the first Test in Bangalore.He said that considering the Australian bowling attack he thinks that the Test series would be won only by India.Talking with media after winning the man-of-the-match award in the Bangalore Test, Zaheer Khan said that Australian team would be in tremendous pressure throughout the series after the first Test ended in a draw.He said that the bowling attack of the world champions was very weak and not only they failed to get the Indian base but they could not get Harbhajan Singh out early.He further said that due to this poor Australian bowling, India’s prospects of winning the Test series are more bright.Zaheer in particular severely criticized the Australian spin attack and said it was very weak as the spin attack consisting of Cameroon White and Michael Clarke could get only one wicket on the last day of the match

Suicide attacks in Pakistan are 'haram' and 'najaaiz': Ulema’s decree


LAHORE: Muttehadda Ulema Council (MUC) has said in its unanimous decree (fatwa) that suicide attacks in Pakistan are haram and najaaiz.According to sources, a meeting of the Muttehadda Ulema Council was held in Lahore which was attended by the ulema from Jamaat Ahl-e-Sunnat, Ahl-e-Tashee, Ahl-e-Hadees, and the Devbandi and Barelvi schools of thought.
